Jabbawockeez Mask & Planking

Where to buy Jabbawockeez Mask in Malaysia?
I and my friend went planking at Mid Valley Megamall yesterday for a competition. While we were visiting the ToysRus shop, I saw a Jabbawockeez mask and I straight away bought it! I wanted this for quite some time, it's so cool. After buying it I wore it and walk around the mall, it's so fun doing that.

We then continue to do our planking around the mall, here I planked at the Gardens:

Planking in Public Place is Scary, But Fun
If you have a Facebook account, you can see more of the planking photos and while your doing it why don't you give us a 'Like' to help us in the competition. I appreciate a lot. FIRST, like this page. THEN like the pictures that follows:
Thank you so much, if you help like the photos. I really appreciate it.

I Try Using Photoshop First Time
After getting the Jabbawockeez Mask and thanks to my friend, because he lend me his camera. I can take some great picture and then I edited it, what do you think for a beginner?

Movie Of The Year 2010

And the movie of the year 2010, even though the year has not ended, goes to......
STEP UP 3D
Yeah! Great movie! Watched it with my brother, Tenzho & Kgai Kang. The movie was more than my  expectation. Been waiting so long since they announced. Have you watch it? If not, you should! It's got everything of the 'now generation' in it. Breakdance, Robot Dance, Popping, Locking, Beatbox, Capoeira, Ballroom Dance and even some classical dance.

Not gonna spoil the movie for you. But just some thoughts. Adam Sevani (right) can not only dance, but parkour! Gosh, that's awesome. His acting was okay. He changed allot since Step Up 2: The Streets. His dancing skills improved allot and in the movie his one of the main character.

There's one part he dances with Camille, his childhood best friend. Their dance is so charming, cute and funny! They go around a street, dancing and using the objects all around while a classic song from the ice-cream man truck is playing. Here's the clip, check it out!

The first dance battle in the movie is at a pit with allot of dust and powder, the enemy's team was good. Especially their wild animal-like expression, plus their secret weapon which is an awesome popper (left). But they lost to Adam's crew because they have this robot man, oh my gosh I tell you. He's awesome. Why do I say so? Click Here.

Then come the second dance battle in he movie, this time is at China Town. Adam (Moose in the movie) came late, while arriving at the spot he knocked a switch and water starts flowing on the battle grounds. If you watch Step Up 2: The Streets, the last dance they danced while it was raining. Now in Step Up 3D, they dance on water but it's ten times better. Speechless. Adam's dancing was superb plus together with Madcon's song - Beggin'. You should really really click here. You will not regret.

Finally, the last battle at The World Jam. This battle I tell you, is a must watch. There's lights, lasers, headspins, robot rock - come on go watch it. Overall, the movie is great - no! The movie is inspiringly phenomenal and epic. Oh and the soundtracks are too. Check them all out. Step Up 3D, movie of the year.

The Demonata

Yes! I have finally after 3 years - read finished the The Demonata series! Yesterday, I finished reading the last book - Hell's Heroes. It was totally great, extremely brilliant, amazingly unputdowable again! Praise for Darren Shan! You had done it once again! Thank you so much for writing; it was a really dark, magical, bloody story. Although it was very dark and scary, thanks at least for a nice ending! It feels excellent after finishing the whole thing, but also kinda sad.

The story all began in The Crux, 64 piece of black and white, 32 section of black where the Old Creatures stays and 32 section of white where the Demonata stays. The Kah-Gash protecting, uniting all the pieces together. Then something when wrong and the Big Bang came, and life as we know it started. The story then goes thousands years forward into 351 AD, where Bec MacConn the Little One was born. Trained to be a priestess by Banba, living a normal live, until the Demonata opens a tunnel and invaded Ireland. Later on, Bran came asking for help, Bec and a team of warriors join and volunteer to assist the boy. Meeting the druid Drust, then getting the Kah-Gash piece from Lord Loss and finally reached the tunnel, Bec became the memory of the Kah-Gash. Drust failed to perform the ritual on Bec and sacrifice himself, the tunnel starts to close, sucking everything up, Bec and Bran tries to escape. Bran escaped, but Bec was killed by Lord Loss familiars. Then the story goes about 1600 years forward into mid 1970s where the second piece of the Kah-Gash was born - Cornelius "Kernel" Fleck. Having to see patches of light since birth, he was born with the eyes of the Kah-Gash. As a result, he had no friend and was lonely throughout his childhood, because people think he was crazy when he told them he could see patches of light floating around. Then meeting Lord Loss in his realm, changing Artery into his little brother - Art. Kernel's parents, disturbed by the coming of Art, moved into a new village. There an elderly mage summomed Cadaver and stole Art from Kernel. Follow the demon back to it's universe, Kernel meet up with Beranabus and his Disciples. To get back his brother, he joined the Disciple. After a long search, they finally end up in Lord Loss realm. Finally found out that he was the one who stole Artery and finally leaves Artery where he originally was. Then the story goes 30 years forward to the 21st Century where the trigger of the Kah-Gash was born - Grubitsch "Grubbs" Grady. He lived a normal live with his nice parents and annoying sister, it all changed when the night he was told to stay at his aunt house while his parents and sister went to see a ballet. Grubbs found that something was wrong and sneaked back into his house to find that all of them are dead, killed by Lord Loss minions. He escaped the house and went crazy going into a mental hospital, because he kept seeing that demons exist. Then his uncle - Dervish Grady came to bring him out, told him that he also know all about the demons. Grubbs then lived in Dervish mansion. Meet up with his half-brother Bill-E Spleen, only to found out later he was cursed with the lycanthropy curse. So to save him, Dervish and Grubbs have to summon Lord Loss as he is the only one who can cure it. They struck a deal with him, if Grubbs wins in the chess match, Lord Loss shall cure him, if not Lord Loss will have all of their souls. While Grubbs was battling with Lord Loss in the special chess game, Dervish has to battle with Lord Loss minions until someone wins the match. Finally Grubbs won, resulting in Bill-E being cured and Dervish going to the Demonata universe to fight Lord Loss alone.

Well that is just a - well you can say - short introduction of the series. Anyone who knows me, even you who is reading now! I suggest you get to the nearest bookstore now and read this whole series! Haha... seriously this is great, I guarantee you. But warning, it's seriously scary, so if you're not good with horror stuff, too bad! You missed the best novel series! Darren Shan is the best author! Thanks so much for this series, thanks for every moment. It was great, now that it is came to an end. But, I'm not finish with you, I'll continue to read your upcoming novels! I'll read as long as you write. Thanks so much!

OIAM 3: The Grand Finals

Hey, yesterday I watched One In A Million 3 : The Grand Finals,
and the winner for this season goes to...

Shah Indrawan Ismail - Tomok
I was shocked a bit when they announced that, I though Esther was going to win. But too bad, at least it isn't a girl who wins this time, the first season was won by Suki and the second was by Ayu and now the first boy who won OIAM, Tomok. It finally came to an end, but after the show finish they said, "See you in the next season !" I thought this was the last season because they always say, One In A Million 3 the hottest season yet. But this is great, there is going to be season 4! I'll be waiting for it.

The Grand Finals starts with a performance by the Top 12, honestly I liked this performance best among the others.

This was Tomok's Grand Finals song, esspecially composed just for him, Rindu Terhenti.

Hip-Hop Performance

I'm so sorry for not updating so long, I had been very busy! Busy with homework, projects, presentation and exams. And talking about exam, I dunno if I had been curse or something, but every single time there is exam since Form 1, I will get flu. It will be on exam time or after the exam or beginning of the exam, ill catch the flu. It is really annoying; this recent exam i also caught it and also got sick(fever & flu) after the exam and can't go to school.

Okay this post and the following upcoming posts I'll talk about few stuff that happen last month and earlier this month. So, last month my team & I was invited to perform in a family talk that was held by DAP & UPF on 27th March. We need to practice our dance steps since most of us has forgotten it, two days before we practiced at Auntie Ester's house, the girls teams also are invited to perform.

Shamir taking a break.
Shamir & Zack taking a rest.

Zack showing off his new wallet.

Girls team practicing Korean dance.

Girls team practicing Thailand dance.

Shojin staring into blankness.

I cannot take pictures of our team dancing, because we're dancing. We can ask other people, but that's.... Maybe next time. I'll try to get our picture next time. The performance day is Friday, we practiced on Wednesday & Thursday, and it is school day some more. After school all of us went to Auntie Ester's house and practiced, we were exhausted after practicing, but that pay off.

On Friday, we all gather in Auntie Ester's house, ate dinner and was already heading our way to our destination, Serdang. When we reached there, we went to the changing room. There we put our stuff down and practice our dance again. We were suppose to perform at a later time, but suddenly the organiser came to us and tell us we were going to perform straight away for the opening. When he say that, I was shocked a bit, but i said to myself never mind, i need to overcome any challenges that come. We then change into our Hip-Hop clothes, come around and form a circle and we pray. After that we went up to the stage and perform.

A biker on the highway.

Getting ready to perform...

The Hall where the talk is held.

The speaker is James Poon.

Shamir again...

Shamir, Zack, Chong Ren, Shojin & Shi Kai

This is my team that perform that day.
Plus Kiddo who is taking the picture.

Our performances was okay, nothing wrong, just tiny bits of mistake. After we perform, we just seat among the audience and listen to the talk. Before the program finish, they call us out to give us certificates of appreciation, the girls team was still changing and me as the leader of the boy's team had to go out and take the certificates. I shook hands with YB Teo Nie Ching, member of parlimen for serdang, and took the certificates. After that they served red bean soup and we can already leave. It was a great experience, I hope I can perform more and also can get better in dancing. And that's the end.

Look at those beautiful pictures.
Imagine if all of that is destroyed.
Imagine if we could not see the sun or moon ever again.
Imagine if we don't have electricity, and live in the dark forever.
Let's all live in the dark for 1 hour, and save mother nature.
I support EARTH HOUR 2009!

Early Birthday Part 2

So on Sunday March 8, after church, Christine, Jnel, Susan, Zhi Shu, Joon Gil, Chun Zhong and me went to Church HQ to help prepare stuff for the event. Before that Christine called us all to ask if we can help to be staff for the event, Peace Convocation : Power Of 10 Sen Gaza Dibela. We all agreed and met after church and went to HQ. At HQ, we did allot of work, pack the power of 10 sen donations box, cut the registration form, staple the form, make the name tags and decorate the big power of 10 sen donation box. We were all exhausted after finishing the tasks, it took us 8 hours and we were all very hungry. So we quickly arrange the stuff to be brought to tomorrow's event, clean up the place, and then we took our bags and went to buy food. After buying the food, we went to a member's house to eat our dinner and wait for our driver to bring us to NTC. After eating, everyone gathered outside the hall and asked me to come out from the kitchen, and when i reached there they took out a piece of cake and started to sang Happy Birthday. Oh my gosh, again ! I had a present on Saturday and then this surprise on Sunday. It's the second time, the first was last few years in a church workshop. It was dinner time and they gathered everyone in the hall and then a uncle say someones birthday is coming soon and we are going to celebrate his birthday today, and they bring in two buckets of KFC. Then now this year, again, you guys really don't have to do this, really really unnecessary. But thank you so much, and to all please don't ask me to pick up the candle with my mouth ever again, i don't kiss candles ! But it really wasn't a 100% surprise, i suspected it, because when we were working at HQ, they keep using weird codes, vegetable and rice. It was very obvious, because they are talking about that and excluding me, so it was something to do with me, and this month is my birthday, i though maybe they where going to do something for my birthday, but then it was too early. I also though maybe they are gonna play some prank on me, with the vegetable or something. So guys, next time be more smart, so that people can never ever think what you all are gonna do, not even a thought.
Okay, after that our driver arrive and we went to NTC and head straight to bed. We were too tired. On the next day, the event day, Yuyi, Johnson, Takatoshi and Billy came and join us, also to help with the event. At the event, we were staff at the Power Of 10 Sen counter, it was very confusing, messy and exhausting. We carry the stuff to the counter, stick the posters, set up the place, prepare the brochures, greet people, ask them if they would like to donate, prepare more brochures, store up the ushers bags and others. We were all very busy. The host of the event was Juliana Ibrahim ( the host for So You Think You Can Dance), many VIP came, the deputy prime minister's wife also came, Suki and Jaclyn Victor also came to sing. It was a great event and a great experience to be staff (although my whole body hurts after the event), and I hope that all the money that is collected can truly help the Gaza children. Even though it's 10 sen, but if every single person in Malaysia donate 10 sen a day, imagine how much is that. So why 10 sen you say, why not 1 ringgit or more. Because everyone can afford to give 10 sen, 10 sen is so little that people think it to be ridiculous and will therefore be inclined to give. Little drops of water make a mighty ocean and little 10 sen coins can build up into a meaningful amount able to feed many mouths in Gaza. The Power Of 10 Sen.

Early Birthday Part 1

So on Saturday March 7, Justin want to bring me to a place for my birthday, and it's gonna be a surprise on where are we going. Before that he asked me to bring allot of water and also bring a cap, so I though we were going to a park or something to do Parkour. We took two trains and walked quite awhile to reach the destination (so that's what the cap for), on the way we saw this building called Raja Chulan Building. It's funny, Raja Chulan was a member of the Perak royal family (July 1, 1869 - April 10 ,1983). There is also Raja Chulan Tower next to it, and there is Jalan Raja Chulan and also Raja Chulan Monorail station. I guess he was respected highly.

After walking a little more we reached our destination, Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex. By the moment we went inside and pass by some items at display and i though, Oh no we are going to view a craft museum for my birthday. But Justin say we are not yet there, so we go on more deeper into the complex and reached a Wakaf. We are going to do Batik, and Batik takes hours to finish (that's what allot of water for). I choose a twin tower and KL tower picture and Justin choose a flower. We sat down at the table & chairs provided there and start tracing the picture on the cotton. After tracing, the shopkeeper traced one more time with wax, so that we can color it part by part. If don't wax it, you drop one color, the whole piece will soaked with that color.

We took around 3 hours to finish our batik and while waiting for the paint to dry we went to eat lunch and walk around the museum. Most of the museum stuff are for sale, and they are damn expensive. There's a very nice small wallet that Justin wanted to buy for him, but never bought. It costs RM 20 !!! Here are some pictures of the stuff at the museum.

This Jar or whatever you call it, cost about RM 300+

This silver gong cost RM 500+
And the most expensive thing that we manage to found, this golden banana tree cost RM 10400.00 !!!!!
After looking around we head back to the Wakaf store, took our batik, Justin paid for them and we head back home. The Batik was the present for my birthday from Justin, once again thank you so much! It's fun making Batik, it was my first time, great experience. If you would like to make one or visit the place, here's the address :
Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex
Section 63, Jalan Conlay,
50450 Kuala Lumpur.

My not so awesome Batik
