The Demonata

Yes! I have finally after 3 years - read finished the The Demonata series! Yesterday, I finished reading the last book - Hell's Heroes. It was totally great, extremely brilliant, amazingly unputdowable again! Praise for Darren Shan! You had done it once again! Thank you so much for writing; it was a really dark, magical, bloody story. Although it was very dark and scary, thanks at least for a nice ending! It feels excellent after finishing the whole thing, but also kinda sad.

The story all began in The Crux, 64 piece of black and white, 32 section of black where the Old Creatures stays and 32 section of white where the Demonata stays. The Kah-Gash protecting, uniting all the pieces together. Then something when wrong and the Big Bang came, and life as we know it started. The story then goes thousands years forward into 351 AD, where Bec MacConn the Little One was born. Trained to be a priestess by Banba, living a normal live, until the Demonata opens a tunnel and invaded Ireland. Later on, Bran came asking for help, Bec and a team of warriors join and volunteer to assist the boy. Meeting the druid Drust, then getting the Kah-Gash piece from Lord Loss and finally reached the tunnel, Bec became the memory of the Kah-Gash. Drust failed to perform the ritual on Bec and sacrifice himself, the tunnel starts to close, sucking everything up, Bec and Bran tries to escape. Bran escaped, but Bec was killed by Lord Loss familiars. Then the story goes about 1600 years forward into mid 1970s where the second piece of the Kah-Gash was born - Cornelius "Kernel" Fleck. Having to see patches of light since birth, he was born with the eyes of the Kah-Gash. As a result, he had no friend and was lonely throughout his childhood, because people think he was crazy when he told them he could see patches of light floating around. Then meeting Lord Loss in his realm, changing Artery into his little brother - Art. Kernel's parents, disturbed by the coming of Art, moved into a new village. There an elderly mage summomed Cadaver and stole Art from Kernel. Follow the demon back to it's universe, Kernel meet up with Beranabus and his Disciples. To get back his brother, he joined the Disciple. After a long search, they finally end up in Lord Loss realm. Finally found out that he was the one who stole Artery and finally leaves Artery where he originally was. Then the story goes 30 years forward to the 21st Century where the trigger of the Kah-Gash was born - Grubitsch "Grubbs" Grady. He lived a normal live with his nice parents and annoying sister, it all changed when the night he was told to stay at his aunt house while his parents and sister went to see a ballet. Grubbs found that something was wrong and sneaked back into his house to find that all of them are dead, killed by Lord Loss minions. He escaped the house and went crazy going into a mental hospital, because he kept seeing that demons exist. Then his uncle - Dervish Grady came to bring him out, told him that he also know all about the demons. Grubbs then lived in Dervish mansion. Meet up with his half-brother Bill-E Spleen, only to found out later he was cursed with the lycanthropy curse. So to save him, Dervish and Grubbs have to summon Lord Loss as he is the only one who can cure it. They struck a deal with him, if Grubbs wins in the chess match, Lord Loss shall cure him, if not Lord Loss will have all of their souls. While Grubbs was battling with Lord Loss in the special chess game, Dervish has to battle with Lord Loss minions until someone wins the match. Finally Grubbs won, resulting in Bill-E being cured and Dervish going to the Demonata universe to fight Lord Loss alone.

Well that is just a - well you can say - short introduction of the series. Anyone who knows me, even you who is reading now! I suggest you get to the nearest bookstore now and read this whole series! Haha... seriously this is great, I guarantee you. But warning, it's seriously scary, so if you're not good with horror stuff, too bad! You missed the best novel series! Darren Shan is the best author! Thanks so much for this series, thanks for every moment. It was great, now that it is came to an end. But, I'm not finish with you, I'll continue to read your upcoming novels! I'll read as long as you write. Thanks so much!
